Essential Tips

1.

The Moon Pearl from Tower of Hera is mandatory — without it you transform into a bunny in the Dark World.

2.

Use the Magic Mirror to warp back to Light World. Portals between worlds appear as blue spinning tiles.

3.

The Ice Palace is easier with Fire Rod + Bombos Medallion combination — melts ice floors quickly.

4.

Bottle fairies are your safety net. Fill all 4 bottles before Turtle Rock and Ganon's Tower.

5.

Agahnim I & II can be beaten with the Bug-Catching Net (reflects magic) if you don't have the Master Sword.

6.

The Ether Medallion hits all on-screen enemies — great for clearing rooms in Ganon's Tower.

7.

Shooting the bat above Ganon with Silver Arrows is the only way to finish the fight.

8.

The flute boy's buried flute is in the light world equivalent of where the weathervane stands in Kakariko.
