The Minish Cap

Vaati the wind mage has turned Princess Zelda to stone. Link receives the Minish Cap — a living hat named Ezlo — which allows him to shrink to the size of the Picori (Minish people). Link must reforge the sacred Picori Blade using 4 Elements and confront Vaati in Dark Hyrule Castle.

Shrinking Mechanic

Minish Portals (stumps, pots, leaves) allow Link to shrink to Picori size. At Minish scale, walls and objects invisible at normal size become passable. Minish villages exist throughout Hyrule — invisible at normal size. Many Heart Pieces require Minish scale to access. Ezlo provides hints and serves as the conduit for the shrinking ability.

All 6 Dungeons

Each dungeon rewards one of the 4 Elements (Earth, Fire, Water, Wind) needed to reforge the Picori Blade.

1

Deepwood Shrine

Gust Jar

📍 Minish Woods — shrink at the Minish Portal near the forest entrance

Boss — Mazaal: Mazaal is a pair of giant stone hands with a face between them. Use the Gust Jar to pull the eyeball out of each hand and suck it in. After both eyes are removed, the face reveals a larger eye — shoot it with the Gust Jar at full charge. Dodge the hand-slam by moving sideways.

2

Cave of Flames

Cane of Pacci

📍 Mt. Crenel — requires Iron Boots and a Bomb to destroy the boulder at the entrance

Boss — Big Chuchu: Big Chuchu is a jelly creature. Use the Cane of Pacci to flip it upside down, exposing its soft core. Slash the core repeatedly while it's inverted. It bounces and lands unpredictably — move to a corner and wait for it to bounce to you.

3

Fortress of Winds

Mole Mitts

📍 Castor Wilds — navigate the wind-blown windmill puzzle to open the gate

Boss — Mazaal (large form): A larger version of the Dungeon 1 boss. Same strategy but with faster hands and an additional wind gust attack. Prioritize dodging the wind to maintain positioning, then pull each eye out as before. The face eye is larger but takes only 3 hits.

4

Temple of Droplets

Big Wallet / Flippers

📍 Lake Hylia — requires Flippers and a small size to enter through the lily pad passage

Boss — Big Octorok: Big Octorok fires homing rocks. Deflect the rocks back with your shield timed precisely, then rush in and slash before he reloads. After 3 hits, he submerges and shoots from below the ice — watch for the shadow and dodge.

5

Palace of Winds

Roc's Cape

📍 Cloud Tops — ride the tornado in the Cloud Tops region

Boss — Gyorg Pair: Two armored catfish who swap positions on the high platforms. Each is invincible while the other lives. Use Roc's Cape to glide between platforms and identify which is currently vulnerable (the one moving). Slash the moving fish, switch platforms when it freezes, repeat.

6

Dark Hyrule Castle

Four Sword

📍 North Hyrule Town — final dungeon requiring all 4 Elements

Boss — Vaati Reborn / Vaati Transfigured / Vaati's Wrath: Vaati Phase 1 (Reborn): Eight eyes orbit around a core — slash eyes until they turn red, then strike the core. Phase 2 (Transfigured): Giant winged form. Cut the tentacle eyeballs with the sword, then attack the main eye. Phase 3 (Wrath): Full power Vaati. Split into 4 Links, surround him, and strike simultaneously when his orbs align. Absorbs single-target attacks — all 4 Links must hit together.

Kinstone Fusion Guide

100 Kinstone fusions are hidden across Hyrule. Each successful fusion triggers a remote event — a chest appears, a path opens, or an NPC is helped. You'll never know where the reward appears until you find it. Fuse with every NPC you encounter.
