Description

A Big Hearty Radish roasted by fire exposure rather than cooked in a pot. Roasting reduces the potency compared to proper cooking but preserves the Hearty effect — four temporary heart containers instead of the maximum you'd get from pot cooking. Big Hearty Radishes are found in Akkala and the Gerudo Highlands, often near Great Fairy Fountain locations. Roasted versions are useful when you need the Hearty bonus urgently but no cooking pot is available — drop it near a campfire, pick it up, consume. The four-heart temporary extension is still significant for boss encounters when you're caught without proper meals cooked.
