Description

A blue-tinted Frox variant found in mid-to-late Depths areas, representing a serious escalation in difficulty. Blue Frox develop partial elemental resistance after sustained exposure to the same damage type — requiring players to vary their attack approach. Its swallow attack is nearly instant, dealing severe Gloom damage if Link is caught. Highly valuable Zonaite drops make Blue Frox farming a core end-game resource strategy.

How to Beat Blue Frox

The Blue Frox has significantly more HP and a faster swallow attack. It also develops resistance to the first element used against it — switch elements if damage drops. Bomb arrows to the eye deal reliable damage regardless of resistance. The stun window after eye hits is shorter than standard Frox.
