Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
A Blue Horriblin variant that has seized a spear, using it mid-drop to execute a diving lance attack that covers far more ground than the standard claw drop. Found in mid-game cave systems, the Blue Horriblin Spearman is notably more dangerous on the landing attack than its clawed counterpart. The spear also gives it additional reach in follow-up ground swings. Headshots while it repositions on the ceiling are the recommended entry strategy — a ceiling-knocked Blue Horriblin Spearman drops its spear on landing, temporarily disarming it.
Weakness
Headshot for ceiling knock-down; dodge the spear lunge on landing
How to Beat Blue Horriblin Spearman
Drops from the ceiling with a spear lunge instead of the standard claw swipe, giving it more range on the landing attack. Dodge sideways on the drop for a flurry rush opportunity. The spear extends its reach significantly — do not close distance until it commits to a swing. Headshots while it readjusts on the ceiling are the safest engagement start.
