Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
A Stalmoblin variant that has adapted to the permanent darkness of the Depths, its bone structure hardened by mineral absorption from gloom-saturated ground. Depths Stalmoblins are found guarding the Abandoned Mine sites in the Gerudo and Central Hyrule Depths, often positioned at mineshaft entrances as natural gatekeepers. The skull-detach technique (headshot first) remains essential — a stumbling headless Depths Stalmoblin is still dealing area sweep attacks out of pure muscle memory. Brightbloom seeds dramatically improve targeting in the darkened Depths caverns.
Weakness
Headshot to detach skull; melee the body while headless
How to Beat Depths Stalmoblin
Like surface Stalmoblins but with higher HP due to the Depths environment hardening its bone structure. The detach-skull strategy still applies — headshot first, then pummel the stumbling body. In dark Depths areas, a Brightbloom seed thrown near it illuminates the skull for a clean bow shot. The headless body moves slowly, making the kill clean.
