Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!

Description

A sentient tree monster that disguises itself perfectly among normal trees in forests and woodlands. It remains completely still until Link walks within melee range, at which point it uproots and begins a violent attack sequence. Axe weapons and fire are most effective. Evermean Wood drops are used in construction Autobuild recipes. Learning to identify Evermeans by subtle leaf-rustling tells prevents ambushes.

How to Beat Evermean

Disguised as a regular tree until approached. Fire is extremely effective — a single fire arrow can defeat one. Axe-type weapons also deal bonus damage. They sometimes appear in groups, so area fire attacks work well.
