Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!

Description

An Aerocuda that has been exposed to concentrated Gloom in the Depths, its talons and beak coated in the dark substance. It retains the same flight patterns and grab attacks as surface Aerocuda, but every contact inflicts Gloom damage that reduces maximum hearts. Commonly ferries Gloom-corrupted enemies to create dangerous aerial assault pairs. Encountered frequently in the deeper sections of the underground, especially near Phantom Ganon spawn zones.

How to Beat Gloom-Tipped Aerocuda

A Depths variant of the Aerocuda with Gloom-coated talons. Getting grabbed inflicts Gloom damage. Shoot it down quickly at range before it can dive. When it carries Gloom Bokoblins, the combined threat is dangerous — take out the Aerocuda first to drop the rider to the ground where it is easier to manage.
