Black Gloom Hinox are the highest-tier non-boss Hinox, found only in the deepest Depths Hinox territories. Their combination of Black Hinox HP with Gloom contact damage makes sustained melee engagement near-impossible without dedicated anti-Gloom preparation.

How to Beat Black Gloom Hinox
Black Gloom Hinox has the HP of a Black Hinox with Gloom contact damage. Every melee exchange applies Gloom drain. Use bomb arrow to the eye for consistent non-contact damage. Sundelion meals are essential for sustained combat.
