Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
An unusually mineral-rich Igneo Talus found in the deepest volcanic zones near Death Mountain. Its ore deposit contains embedded Diamonds and Rubies, making it the most valuable fire-type Talus for gemstone income. Maximum fire resistance and ice arrows are mandatory. The Diamond drop pool is among the best of any regular enemy encounter in TotK.

Ice arrows to cool body first, hammer-fused weapons on ore deposit; level 2+ Flamebreaker required
How to Beat Rare Igneo Talus
An Igneo Talus with a richer ore deposit containing Diamond and Ruby. The cooling mechanic is identical — ice arrows extinguish the magma skin first. Flamebreaker Armor set level 2+ is strongly recommended. The Diamond drop pool justifies the extra fight preparation.
