Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
An uncommon Stone Talus variant whose ore deposit glows with embedded precious gems, indicating an unusually rich mineral composition. Combat mechanics are identical to a standard Stone Talus — climb to the deposit and strike repeatedly with heavy weapons. The reward pool is dramatically better: guaranteed Diamond, Ruby, or Sapphire drops, and an extremely rare chance at a Star Fragment. Specific lore suggests Rare Talus locations are linked to ancient Sheikah mineral survey sites.

How to Beat Rare Stone Talus
Fights identically to a Stone Talus but the ore deposit glows with gemstone luster. The climb-and-smash strategy applies — use heavy fused hammers on the deposit. Prioritize these over standard Stone Talus whenever spotted due to the premium gemstone drop pool. Can drop Star Fragments.
