Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
Red Bokoblins are Hyrule's most common enemy, setting camps in valleys, clifftops, and road chokepoints with predictable patrol patterns. Their forehead is the precise weak-point location — an arrow to that exact spot deals a guaranteed critical hit that stuns them regardless of arrow type. When unarmed, they flail helplessly and run — exploit this by shield-bashing their weapons away before finishing them. Farms effectively by clearing camps before Blood Moon respawns. Red Bokoblin Horn (80% drop) is the most abundant Fuse material in the early game.

How to Beat Red Bokoblin (Field Variant)
Use terrain elevation to your advantage — Red Bokoblins cannot throw projectiles accurately at targets above them. Sneak behind the camp using Blue Nightshade stealth food, kill the lookout first, then pick off the others before the horn alert triggers. For efficient farming, approach camps on horseback — mounted combat lets you chain hits across the entire group in seconds. Bomb Flowers thrown into dense groups deal area damage. If they call the horn, handle reinforcements by targeting the horn-caller first.
