Overview

Timiraus Shrine is a Rauru's Blessing shrine found in one of the deepest areas of the Depths. The shrine door is open and the interior is clear — but reaching this location is itself the major challenge. This is one of the most remote shrines in the game, requiring sustained Depths traversal through heavy gloom terrain to access.

How to Reach

Timiraus is in a deep cavern region. Two primary approaches:

1. Long Depths traversal: Navigate from a known chasm entry point in the appropriate surface region. Follow the Lightroot chain to build a path of lit waypoints.
2. Drop approach: If you've activated the Lightroot nearest to Timiraus (visible on the Depths map as a lit star), teleport there and navigate the short remaining distance.

The immediate area around Timiraus has particularly dense gloom pools — approach from the north or east where the terrain is more navigable.

Preparation

• Brightbloom Seeds (bring 15+)
• Gloom-resistant food (5–6 portions) — this is a long trip through dense gloom terrain
• Full heart container recommended — gloom WILL reduce your max hearts on this run
• Zonai battery boosters for any Zonai vehicles
• Takes 20–45 minutes first time; 5 minutes if you can teleport to the nearest Lightroot

Inside the Shrine

1. Walk through the open entrance.
2. The altar chamber is fully lit and gloom-free.
3. A chest is in the side alcove — collect it.
4. Approach the altar.

Tips

• Prioritize Lightroot first: If the nearest Lightroot to Timiraus is unactivated, prioritize reaching and activating it before the shrine. Lightroots provide teleport anchor points that make the return trip trivial.
• Dense gloom approach: The terrain approaching Timiraus has dense gloom pools. Rather than avoiding them (impossible in some areas), bring Sundelion-based meals that restore max hearts lost to gloom. Eat one before any gloom contact.
• Brightbloom conservation: In thick gloom areas, throw Brightblooms in arcs ahead of you to pre-light paths before stepping. Don't wait until you need them desperately.
• Vehicle option: If you have a Zonai Construct vehicle and sufficient battery, flying above the gloom terrain to Timiraus is the fastest approach. Gloom only affects ground contact — aerial traversal is safe.
• Depths map completion: Timiraus's location is on the extreme southern/deep section of the Depths map. Reaching it fills in a significant portion of unexplored territory for map completionists.
