Deep in the southwestern Gerudo Depths, Siwauk stands at the edge of a vast underground salt basin where an ancient inland sea evaporated over millennia, leaving behind a landscape of crystallized mineral towers and salt flats that crunch underfoot like fresh snow. The air is so dry and mineral-heavy that moisture vanishes from skin within minutes. The lightroot's amber warmth refracts through the salt crystal formations, multiplying into dozens of secondary light columns that make the basin feel far larger than it is. Abandoned Gerudo prospecting equipment dots the flats — shallow drill rigs, ore carts corroded by salt oxidation, and survey stakes marking claim boundaries that have not been honored in generations. The deepest section of the basin, directly beneath Siwauk's canopy, contains a Bargainer Statue half-buried in salt encrustation, its features still visible, accepting offerings with the same patience it has maintained through geological cycles. Combat here draws in Gibdo swarms from nearby nest chambers in the salt cliff walls — the mineral environment disorients conventional navigation, so mark your path before engaging.
