About This Lightroot

Takurak occupies a rare naturally-lit section of the southeastern Necluda Depths, corresponding to Kurakat Shrine on the surface near Lurelin Village. Unlike virtually all other Depths zones, the cavern around this lightroot already glows faintly from its own biology before the lightroot is even activated — a dense grove of Brightbloom Trees (the mature form of Brightbloom Seeds that have taken root and grown over centuries) provides ambient blue-white light across a 100-meter radius. This makes the approach from any direction easier and safer than most Necluda Depths navigation. The Poe-dense corridor running east-west through this cavern is one of the most productive Poe farming stretches in the Necluda region — 18-22 Poes appear in a 150-meter stretch between two Brightbloom groves. Chain navigation: connects west to Imawaku Lightroot and north to Oyamah Lightroot via well-lit stone roads. The Brightbloom Tree grove itself is worth noting on your map — Giant Brightbloom Seeds can be harvested from the mature trees for Depths exploration supplies.
