Abandoned Eldin Mine

About This Location

A volcanic mine carved into the Depths directly below Death Mountain, where Zonaite veins run alongside natural volcanic ore deposits. The mine environment is geothermally heated — heat resistance is needed in the deepest shafts. Fire-resistant Zonai Construct variants patrol the upper galleries. A Large Gloom Frox has established its lair in the primary lava-adjacent shaft, its gloom crust partly hardened by the heat. The exit to the upper Eldin Depths connects to the central Eldin Lightroot cluster — one of the more efficiently navigable Depths sectors.
