Tempest Gulch

About This Location

A dramatic volcanic ravine east of Death Mountain where hot Eldin air collides with cooler Akkala winds, creating permanent turbulence that makes paragliding unpredictable. The gulch walls are riddled with fire ore veins and host a Fire Wizzrobe camp at the ravine floor. Three Bubbulfrogs nest in the upper cliffs accessible only by climbing or rocket Ascend. The ravine bottom holds a hot spring that restores health and removes cold effects — unusual in a volcanic zone but caused by mineral-rich cold spring seepage from Akkala granite.
