Description

A fragment of concentrated Gloom energy dropped by Gloom Spawn enemies — the writhing dark masses that emerge from Gloom pools throughout the Depths and beneath Hyrule Castle. Used as an upgrade material for Shadow-type and Depths-themed armor sets at Great Fairy Fountains. Also accepted by Bargainer Statues as trade currency for exclusive Depths equipment. Gloom Spawns are dangerous and deal Gloom damage that reduces Link's maximum hearts, so bring Sundelion meals for recovery when farming these enemies in the Depths.
