Speak with Hudson at the Construction Site

Find Hudson at the construction zone on the western edge of Lookout Landing. He is coordinating emergency shelter construction for refugees displaced by the Upheaval. Hudson explains that he needs wood bundles for building frames and Hylian Rice to feed the workers. He marks the nearest tree grove and rice paddy locations on your map.

Gather Wood Bundles

Head to the tree grove south of Lookout Landing and chop down trees using any axe-type weapon or a weapon fused with a rock. Each tree produces a bundle of wood when felled. Collect ten wood bundles and carry them back to the construction site using Ultrahand to stack and transport multiple bundles efficiently across the short distance.

Deliver Hylian Rice

Obtain Hylian Rice by cutting grass in the fields surrounding Lookout Landing — it drops randomly from tall grass patches — or purchase it from the general store at Lookout Landing for a small rupee cost. Deliver five portions of Hylian Rice to Hudson's cooking station where the workers prepare meals during their construction shifts.

Help Position the Shelter Frame

Hudson asks Link to use Ultrahand to position the final roof beam on the emergency shelter frame. Grab the heavy wooden beam from the materials pile and carefully place it on top of the support columns, aligning it with the glowing guide markers. Once positioned correctly, the shelter construction completes and Hudson rewards you with 100 Rupees and a Hudson Construction Sign.
