Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1

Speak with the Worried Goron in Goron City

In Goron City, find a Goron named Fugo standing near the southern entrance looking worried. He explains that his brother Offrak left for the abandoned North Mine several days ago chasing rumors of delicious Marbled Rock Roast and has not returned. Fugo is too afraid of the mine's monsters to go looking himself and asks Link to find Offrak.

2

Travel to the Abandoned North Mine

Head north from Goron City along the rocky path leading up Death Mountain's slopes toward the abandoned mine entrance. Equip Flamebreaker Armor to survive the extreme heat. The mine entrance is marked by old Goron mining equipment and collapsed wooden support structures. Inside, the tunnels are dark and filled with Fire Keese and Magma Lizalfos.

3

Find Offrak Deep in the Mine

Navigate the mine tunnels, following the trail of discarded Marbled Rock Roast crumbs and Goron-sized footprints in the ash. At the deepest chamber, find Offrak sitting in a daze surrounded by piles of half-eaten Marbled Rock Roast, his eyes glazed over from the addictive substance. He does not respond to normal conversation — you need to snap him out of the trance.

4

Snap Offrak Out of His Trance

To break Offrak free, you must destroy the Marbled Rock Roast pile he is fixated on. Use a weapon or Yunobo's charge ability to smash the rock roast into rubble. Without the roast's influence, Offrak shakes his head clear and realizes where he is. He thanks Link profusely and rushes home to Goron City, where Fugo rewards you with 150 Rupees and Goron Spice.
