Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1

Speak with Trissa in Kakariko Village

Find Trissa near the village well in Kakariko — she is visibly worried and nursing a sick neighbor who stumbled back from a Gloom-filled cave. She explains that three villagers have developed dark marks on their skin and lethargy consistent with Gloom exposure. Trissa has read that Sundelion flowers can counteract Gloom's effects but she does not know where to find them.

2

Locate Sundelions on the Sky Islands

Sundelions grow exclusively on Sky Islands, most commonly near Hyrule Castle Sky and the sky archipelago northwest of Lookout Landing. Launch from the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower and collect at least five Sundelions — their golden glow makes them visible from a distance. Each island cluster typically has three to six Sundelion plants, so one trip usually yields a sufficient supply.

3

Cook the Sundelion Remedy

Use the cooking pot in Kakariko Village's central square. Cook Sundelions with any additional meal base (Hylian Rice or Fresh Milk work well) to produce a Sunny Fried Wild Greens or Sunny Mushroom Skewer dish. These meals restore Gloom-darkened heart containers when eaten. Cook enough for all three sick villagers — at least three portions.

4

Deliver the Remedy and Collect Your Reward

Bring the cooked Sundelion dishes to each sick villager that Trissa identified. After eating, the dark marks recede and their energy returns. Return to Trissa to complete the quest. She rewards Link with Rupees and marks the most reliable Sundelion farming location near the Hyrule Castle sky cluster on the Purah Pad map.
