Into the Void — Chasm Diving
Adventure Overview
Hyrule's surface is riddled with Chasms that formed during the Upheaval, each leading directly into the Depths. A researcher named Paya has documented their locations from aerial survey and asks Link to dive into 10 specific Chasms to document what lies below each one. This methodical expedition maps the Depths in unprecedented detail.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1
Accept the Chasm Survey
The Paya researcher at Lookout Landing has identified 10 priority Chasms based on geomagnetic readings suggesting significant underground structures. She gives Link a survey checklist with Chasm locations marked across Hyrule.
2
Dive the Hyrule Field Chasms
Begin with the three Hyrule Field Chasms — easiest to reach from Lookout Landing. Each requires a controlled dive landing on a Lightroot or solid surface rather than Gloom. Document the immediate underground area via Camera photograph.
3
Survey the Regional Chasms
Four more Chasms in Eldin, Lanayru, Faron, and Akkala complete the next wave. Each region's Chasm reveals Depths structures that mirror surface geography in fascinating ways.
4
Final Three Remote Chasms
The final three Chasms are in Gerudo, Hebra, and Woodland — the most remote and dangerous. Each requires preparation specific to its region (heat resistance, cold resistance, and Brightbloom supplies respectively).
5
Submit the Survey
Return the completed photographic survey to the Paya researcher. She compiles the data into a comprehensive Depths atlas and rewards Link with the full survey bonus.
