Adventure Overview
Malanya, the Horse God, reveals that her Great Fairy cousins are not the only divine family members in Hyrule. There are three horse deity shrines in remote locations — sacred spaces where the divine horses of legend rested in ancient times. Visiting each shrine and performing the correct offering ritual connects the regional horse spirit network, granting Link access to the rarest horse coat colors and a permanent horse bond speed boost.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Receive Malanya's Request
After reviving Malanya, she mentions that the Upheaval disrupted the spiritual horse network maintained by three regional horse deity shrines. She asks Link to visit each shrine and reactivate it with an offering of the correct rare plant found near each location.

Eldin Horse Shrine
The Eldin shrine is near the volcanic plains where wild horses with fire-resistant hooves once grazed. The offering requires Swift Violets gathered from the cliffside above Death Mountain. Light the shrine brazier to reactivate the Eldin horse spirit.

Lanayru Horse Shrine
The Lanayru shrine is on a plateau above Zora's Domain, where horses of exceptional speed were bred in ancient times. The offering requires Blue Nightshade from the lakeside caves. Activate the water shrine mechanism at the center.

Faron Horse Shrine
The Faron shrine is deep in the rainforest, the birthplace of horses with extraordinary stamina. The offering requires Tireless Frogs collected from the jungle pools. Arrange the stone horse figures at the shrine altar in the correct formation using Ultrahand.

Return to Malanya
With all three shrines reactivated, the horse spirit network is restored. Malanya rewards Link with permanent horse bond mastery and the ability to register any wild horse coat variant including the rarest spotted patterns.
