Maren's Tip
Try fusing this weapon with monster parts for extra damage. Silver Lynel horns add the most attack power of any fusible material!
Description
A basic wooden and leather shield carried by early-game travelers and low-tier Bokoblin raiders throughout Hyrule Field. The Traveler's Shield provides minimal but nonzero block value — enough to deflect Bokoblin club swings and small arrow volleys in the early game before sturdier equipment becomes available. Its light construction makes it the easiest shield to maneuver with during the tutorial phase. Found abundantly in treasure chests near Lookout Landing and dropped by early Bokoblin encounters. While its defensive value is quickly outclassed, the Traveler's Shield serves as an excellent fusion-effect testing base due to its low inherent stats, making any fusion material's bonus percentage-impact clearly visible. Fuse a Rocket for emergency Bullet Time setups during the early hours before better shields drop.
