Description
The elite polearm of the Hyrulean Royal Guard's heavy infantry — a full halberd combining axe blade, spear tip, and hook into a single devastating polearm. Found in Hyrule Castle's deepest armory vaults and in weapon caches hidden beneath Castle Town ruins. The Royal Halberd has significantly higher durability than the standard Royal Guard Halberd, reflecting its status as an officer-grade weapon issued only to the castle's highest-ranking garrison troops. The combined axe-and-spear design covers multiple attack vectors simultaneously, making it versatile against both armored and agile enemies. Its construction predates the Upheaval, giving it superior materials compared to any replica weapons crafted since. One of the best non-Lynel, non-Depths polearms available in the surface world.
