Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!

Description

A ranged Bokoblin variant that takes elevated positions in camps — watch towers, wooden platforms, tree branches — and rains arrows on approaching players. Its shots are telegraphed by the bow-draw animation, making them easy to block or dodge. Removing archers first before engaging melee Bokoblins significantly reduces combat pressure. Their Arrow drops supplement early archery resources.

How to Beat Bokoblin Archer

Stands on elevated platforms shooting arrows at Link from safety. Shoot it with an arrow first to knock it off its perch, then finish with melee. Alternatively, use Ascend to appear directly below and strike upward. Knock their arrows back with a shield parry for an ironic counter.
