Description

The Demon King and final boss of Tears of the Kingdom, fought in a three-phase battle beneath Hyrule Castle. The first two phases are ground combat that tests every melee skill learned throughout the game — dodging, parrying, Sage coordination, and Master Sword usage. The final phase is an aerial battle between dragons, requiring precise bow shots at the glowing forehead crystal while riding Zelda in Light Dragon form. Widely considered one of the greatest final boss fights in Zelda history.

How to Beat Demon King Ganondorf

The final boss of TotK. Phase 1: Ganondorf fights with a single weapon — use Sage companions and the Master Sword. Phase 2: he summons Gloom clones of the Sages — defeat them first, then focus Ganondorf. His flurry attacks are devastating — perfect dodge is essential. Phase 3: he transforms into the Demon Dragon — ride the Light Dragon and shoot his forehead crystal with arrows while airborne. The Master Sword is required for the final blow.
