Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
A rare gold-variant Evermean lurking in Akkala and Woodland secret groves, disguised as a large golden-barked tree. The gold coloration is a mutation caused by concentrated mineral deposits in the soil — the same minerals that create Luminous Stone Taluses. Gold Evermeans are significantly more durable than standard variants and drop Golden Apples, a premium cooking ingredient for attack-buffing meals. Recognizing its disguise requires noticing that no ordinary tree in its grove shares its golden bark coloration.

How to Beat Gold Evermean
Identical to standard Evermean but gold-skinned and significantly tankier. Fire arrow to reveal it from its tree disguise — a gold tree in a woodland setting still looks unusual. Once revealed, use an axe-fused weapon for the trunk chop combo. Two cycles of trunk hits to the base deals the most consistent damage. It drops rare Golden Apples for elixirs on death.
