Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
A woodland Octorok that camouflages among leaf piles, tree roots, and forest debris in the Great Hyrule Forest and Korok Forest regions. It fires rocks and acorns with surprising accuracy. Shield-parry returns projectiles for an instant kill. Unlike aquatic variants, Forest Octoroks cannot submerge — sustained pressure defeats them quickly. Acorn drops are useful cooking ingredients for temperature-resistance dishes.

How to Beat Forest Octorok
Hides in leaf piles and forest debris. Shoots rocks and acorns in rapid succession. Shield-parry to deflect rocks back for instant damage. Harder to spot than Water Octoroks due to forest camouflage — watch for disturbed leaves. Their Acorn drops are useful cooking ingredients.
