Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!

Description

Desiccated mummy creatures roaming the Gerudo Desert and Lightning Temple region, hardened husks deflecting most physical attacks. Water damage — from Splash Fruit, Chuchu Jelly, or rain — immediately softens their outer layer and makes them vulnerable to normal weapon strikes. The Lightning Temple's water-activation mechanic is built entirely around this weakness. Their Gibdo Bone drops craft formidable Fuse weapons.

How to Beat Gibdo

Mummy-like enemies with a tough husk. Elemental attacks (fire, shock, ice) strip the husk, revealing the vulnerable body underneath. Without stripping the husk first, physical attacks deal minimal damage. Fire arrows are the most efficient counter.
