Description

Gibdo Hives are massive organic structures that act as spawn points for endless waves of Gibdo enemies. Found in the arid Gerudo Desert and the approaches to the Lightning Temple, they pulse with dark energy and disgorge Gibdos at regular intervals. Destroying a Hive stops all local Gibdo spawning permanently, making them high-priority targets during desert exploration. Their destruction often reveals buried treasure or quest-critical items beneath.

Splash Fruit or water-element attacks strip armor before fire finishes them

How to Beat Gibdo Hive (Queen Nest)

The Hive continuously spawns Gibdo and Moth Gibdo until destroyed. Prioritize the Hive over individual spawns. Douse with Splash Fruit to expose its soft tissue, then use fire or bomb arrows. Clear spawned Gibdos periodically to avoid being overwhelmed — they circle the Hive defensively.
