Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
Gibdo Swarms are coordinated groups of Gibdo that attack in tight formation. They are found in the Lightning Temple and Gibdo Hive areas. The swarm behavior makes light and water AoE solutions mandatory — the Wing drop yield per encounter is exceptional.

How to Beat Gibdo Swarm
Gibdo Swarms of 8-12 approach from all directions. Sidon water splash is the only reliable full-swarm counter. Without Sidon, light-element weapons deal AoE damage to tight groups. Never try to fight individual Gibdo in a swarm — you will be surrounded.
