Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!

Description

A three-headed fire dragon that represents one of TotK's most demanding overworld encounters. Fire Gleeok breathes sustained streams of flame from all three heads simultaneously, making ground movement extremely dangerous without heat resistance. Ice Arrows are the mandatory counter — freezing one head creates a melee window while the others remain active threats. The multi-phase battle culminates in the Gleeok rising into the air, requiring creative use of Zonai devices or Sage abilities to follow it aloft.

How to Beat Fire Gleeok

Target each of the three fire-breathing heads with Ice Arrows to freeze them. While a head is frozen, rush in and deal melee damage with your strongest Fused weapon. Defeating all three heads simultaneously is ideal but not required. In final phase (one HP bar), the Gleeok rises into the sky — use a sky vehicle or Ascend to reach and continue targeting heads.
