Description

An advanced Gloom Construct Sentry unit with an active gloom aura field — a persistent gloom energy zone surrounding its body that chips max hearts even without direct weapon contact. Placed at critical chokepoints near Hyrule Castle Depths and boss arena approaches, this variant forces players to develop ranged-first engagement habits. The core crystal shot-stun technique remains the most reliable approach, but the aura reactivation timer is faster than the standard Sentry. Sage powers that deal instantaneous burst damage (Tulin wind, Riju lightning) are uniquely effective at bypassing the aura.

How to Beat Gloom Construct Sentry II

An upgraded version of the standard Gloom Construct Sentry with a pulsing gloom aura that deals passive chip damage to Link within melee range. Use Sage of Lightning's ability to short-circuit the aura before engaging in melee. Arrow to the core crystal from range to stun it — then close for a melee burst before the aura reactivates.
