Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
An oversized Gloom Frox variant lurking in the deep cavern systems of the Abandoned Mines and Depths boss approach corridors. Its body mass is roughly double a standard Gloom Frox, and a thick gloom mineral crust coats its underbelly — the weak point that standard Frox leave fully exposed. The Large Gloom Frox requires sustained bomb damage to crack through the crust layer. Its Large Zonaite drops make it one of the most resource-efficient farming targets once the underbelly technique is mastered.

How to Beat Large Gloom Frox
A significantly larger Gloom Frox variant with a gloom crust coating its belly — the standard flip-and-bomb technique still works but requires a larger bomb for the thicker armor. Use multiple bomb arrows to the underbelly for consistent damage phases. Brightbloom seeds thrown near it slightly weaken the gloom crust before the flip.
