Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
Gloom Igneo Talus is a Depths variant combining fire and Gloom elements. The interaction between these two elements is unusual — the ore node is simultaneously fire-hot and Gloom-coated, requiring players to remove the fire element with ice before the Gloom layer is accessible.

Ice then Sacred — Ice removes fire element, then Sacred light attacks damage the Gloom ore node

Two-phase enemy. Phase 1: Ice Arrow to the body extinguishes fire element. Phase 2: The ore node is Gloom-coated — Sacred weapons are mandatory for Phase 2. Bring both Ice Arrows and a Sacred-element weapon for this encounter.
