Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!

Description

A Keese variant saturated with Gloom, found exclusively in the Depths and Gloom-contaminated zones. Their bites inflict Gloom damage that temporarily reduces Link's maximum heart containers — a persistent threat that stacks with multiple hits. Unlike elemental Keese whose effects are easily countered with armor, Gloom damage has no direct armor counter and can only be healed by Sundelions, cooking with Sundelion dishes, or visiting the Surface. Gloom Keese Eyeball drops are potent arrow Fuse materials that inflict Gloom on targets.

How to Beat Gloom Keese

Keese infused with Gloom that deal Gloom damage on contact — reducing max hearts temporarily. Shoot them at range to avoid the Gloom debuff. Brightbloom Seeds thrown near swarms cause them to scatter. Gloom Keese Wings fused to arrows create gloom-damage projectiles, useful against enemies in the Depths.
