Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
A Lizalfos drenched in concentrated Gloom, its once-colorful scales darkened to an oily black. Found alongside Gloom Bokoblins and Gloom Moblins in the Depths. Every successful attack it lands temporarily reduces Link's maximum heart count. Its speed makes it the most dangerous of the Gloom-corrupted common enemies — the tongue lash and jumping attacks land before players can react. Sundelion-based cooking and Light Dragon materials are critical preparation for areas where Gloom Lizalfos congregate.

How to Beat Gloom Lizalfos
A Lizalfos corrupted by Gloom. Every hit it lands reduces max hearts. It retains the speed and evasion of normal Lizalfos, making it harder to avoid damage. Use Sage companions to pressure it from multiple angles. Sundelion-fused weapons deal bonus damage and counter the Gloom effect. Keep Sundelion meals in reserve to heal Gloom damage.
