Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
Gloom-infused slug creatures that crawl along Depths cave walls and floors, leaving persistent Gloom slime trails that drain hearts on contact. Individually low-threat but their slime deposits remain active after death. Fire attacks both kill them and cleanse the slime trails simultaneously. Found near major Dark Clump deposits throughout the Depths. Their Monster Extract drops are used in cooking for randomized potent effects.

How to Beat Gloom Slug
Slow-moving slug creatures that trail Gloom slime on the ground. Standing in their slime trail causes Gloom damage. The slime persists after the slug dies — use fire to burn it away. They are individually harmless but create zone-control hazards in narrow Depths passages.
