Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
Gold Bokoblin Spear users are among the most dangerous non-boss Bokoblin types. The spear-throw attack is unique to Gold variants and crosses the full engagement range, making evasion mandatory. Post-throw window is the primary damage opportunity.

How to Beat Gold Bokoblin (Spear)
Gold Bokoblin Spear users throw their spear mid-fight as a high-damage ranged attack. When they wind up for the throw (arm extended back 1.5 seconds), roll sideways. After the throw they are completely defenseless for 3 seconds — sprint in for maximum damage.
