Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
A Gold Skulltula variant that has adapted completely to the Depths, losing its surface-world bioluminescence and becoming entirely dark-adapted. Unlike its surface cousin that glows faintly at night, the Depths Gold Skulltula is invisible in darkness until a light source is introduced. Abandoned mine ceilings and Hyrule Castle Depths upper chambers are its primary habitat. The Gold Skulltula Spirit it drops is rarer than the surface variant's drop, making Depths mine exploration a worthwhile skulltula farming route for advanced players.

How to Beat Depths Gold Skulltula
Hangs from ceilings in absolute darkness — a Brightbloom seed or Puffshroom cloud reveals it. Once visible, a single arrow or melee strike defeats it. The hazard is not the combat but the web drop attack when it detects movement below — creates a temporary stun zone. Throw a Brightbloom seed up first, then bow shot.
