Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
A superheated stone giant that lurks in enclosed Eldin cave systems, its core vein pulsing with volcanic energy. Unlike surface Igneo Taluses, the cavern variant benefits from confined geometry that restricts your movement and funnels you into lava throw range. Ice arrows are mandatory to cool the ore node for safe climbing. Fireproof armor is non-negotiable — even approaching without it deals passive burn damage.
Weakness
Ice arrows to cool the ore vein, then climb and strike ore
How to Beat Igneo Talus (Cavern)
Cavern-variant Igneo Talus fights in confined underground chambers. The arena ceiling limits sky-climbing escapes and increases the danger of lava splash. Ice arrows cool the ore vein — sprint up the cooled Talus body and deliver 3–4 heavy strikes before it reheats. Fireproof armor is mandatory.
