Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
The Depths Igneo Talus lurks in the volcanic caverns deep beneath Eldin, a molten stone colossus that radiates lethal heat. Its body glows with internal magma, and the surrounding lava floor limits movement options to scattered rock platforms. Players must cool it with ice-element attacks, then sprint-climb to the ore deposit before it reheats. The Depths darkness compounds the challenge — without Brightbloom Seeds, the ore deposit is nearly invisible against the lava glow. Drops include premium gems and Large Zonaite.

How to Beat Depths Igneo Talus
A Depths variant of the Igneo Talus that spawns in lava-floored caverns. Its body is superheated — touching it without Flamebreaker Armor causes burn damage. Ice arrows cool it temporarily, creating a climbable window. The Depths darkness makes it hard to spot the ore deposit — use Brightbloom Seeds to illuminate the arena before engaging.
