Description

The apex Like-Like variant, residing in the deepest abandoned vault chambers of the Depths and Hyrule Castle underground. A Gold Like-Like being swallowed simultaneously destroys a shield (the worst shield in your inventory) AND reduces max hearts — a double penalty that makes it uniquely punishing. Its eye-node sequence attack pattern matches the standard Like-Like but with dramatically increased HP and faster node respawn. The Gold Like-Like Stone it drops is used in advanced armor upgrades and is among the rarest crafting materials in the game.

Destroy eye nodes clockwise; avoid being swallowed at all costs

How to Beat Gold Like-Like

The most dangerous Like-Like variant — being swallowed destroys a shield permanently AND reduces max hearts. Target the eye nodes in sequence (clockwise pattern opens the fastest). Bomb arrows aimed at the mouth interior deal triple damage. Never let it close distance freely; use Zonai fans to maintain separation while targeting nodes.
