Description

The bumbling but persistent leader of the Yiga Clan, encountered in four escalating boss fights across the Depths. Each encounter features increasingly sophisticated Zonai device weaponry — from basic carts to full combat mechs. Despite the comedy, the fights teach essential Ultrahand and Zonai device combat skills. Completing all four Kohga fights is required for the Depths exploration questline and rewards significant battery upgrade materials and the unique Master Kohga armor set.

How to Beat Master Kohga

The Yiga Clan leader who fights Link four times in the Depths, each time using Zonai devices against you. Phase 1: he uses basic Zonai vehicles — dodge and hit. Phase 2: he builds combat machines with cannons. Phase 3: boats with spike balls. Phase 4: a full mech with lasers. Every encounter, use Ultrahand to grab his projectiles and throw them back. Defeating all four Kohga fights unlocks the Master Kohga armor set.
