Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!

Description

A smaller sand-burrowing worm found beneath Gerudo Desert floors and Depths sand flats. Faster and more erratic than the larger Molduga, it launches from beneath the sand attempting to swallow Link whole. Move onto rocks or elevated terrain to prevent burrowing attacks. Toss Bomb Flowers onto the sand surface to lure it out and detonate on impact for significant damage. Drops Moldorm Guts, Amber, and Flint — modest but reliable crafting materials for mid-game progression.

How to Beat Moldorm

A smaller cousin of the Molduga that burrows through sand. It launches itself from beneath, attempting to swallow Link. Move off sand onto rocks to prevent burrowing. Toss Bomb Flowers onto sand to bait it out and detonate on impact. Much faster than Molduga but far less HP.
