Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!

Description

A gargantuan sand-swimming creature that detects ground vibrations and leaps explosively from the sand. It cannot locate a motionless Link — stand still to avoid detection, then throw a bomb to the sand surface and detonate it to lure the Molduga upward for aerial attacks. One of TotK's most spectacular boss encounters. Its Molduga Fin and Guts are high-value crafting materials for the best attack elixirs.

How to Beat Molduga

A massive sand leviathan. Stand on rocks (it can't detect you there). Throw a bomb or object onto the sand — it will leap to eat it. When it surfaces, detonate and attack while stunned. Repeat until dead. Bomb arrows work great when it surfaces.
