Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
The Electric Moth Gibdo crackles with static energy harvested from desert lightning storms. Its wings generate an electromagnetic field that shocks anyone who attempts melee contact without proper insulation. Found circling above lightning-prone desert terrain and deep within the Thunderhead Isles Depths, it forces players to either strip its charge with water-based attacks or wear full Rubber Armor to negate its shock aura. A dangerous aerial threat in regions where thunderstorms are already a hazard.

Splash Fruit removes electric charge — then melee while grounded
How to Beat Electric Moth Gibdo
Charged with electricity, this Moth Gibdo zaps anything within melee range. Splash Fruit or water arrows short-circuit its charge, grounding it temporarily. Do NOT use metal weapons while it is charged — the shock chains back to Link. Rubber Armor set bonus negates the shock entirely.
