Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
A Talus formed entirely from compressed obsidian that resides in the Depths, its dark surface absorbing ambient Gloom energy without being corrupted. The obsidian exterior is harder than standard Stone Talus but not as resistant as Gloom-corrupted variants. Climbing the Obsidian Talus is standard technique — the ore deposit remains accessible on its crown. Zonaite drops are the unique Depths reward that distinguishes this variant from surface Talus encounters.

How to Beat Obsidian Talus
A Depths-specific Stone Talus formed from compressed obsidian rock. Its exterior is harder than surface Talus, requiring bomb arrows or heavy fused hammers to efficiently damage the ore deposit. The climbing approach is standard Talus — reach the deposit and strike with heavy weapons. Zonaite drops make this a worthwhile Depths farming target alongside regular Frox encounters.
