Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
A centaur-like beast found in Hyrule Field, Akkala Highlands, and Lanayru Road — even this weakest Lynel variant is a formidable combat challenge. It uses three distinct attack patterns: charging rushes, fireball barrages, and ground shockwave slams. Shoot its face with an arrow to stun, then mount for free attacks that consume no weapon durability. Drops Lynel Saber Horn, Mace Horn, Hoof, and Guts — valuable early Fuse materials.

The weakest Lynel but still extremely dangerous. Shoot in the face with an arrow to stun it, then mount and attack (mount attacks don't consume weapon durability). Perfect dodge its charges for flurry rushes. Learn its three attack patterns: charge, fireball barrage, and ground shockwave.
